Gleeks Unite!

gif creator

The second installment of Glee episodes is here. I failed to watch the first one last April 14 coz I had one busy week. I havent even had the chance to watch Idol for 2 weeks now and I havent had much time to watch the online streams, too. I heard Andrew Garcia was booted out and I'm very disappointed. Oh well, good thing there's still Glee 2 to keep my weekdays sane.

And if you're a big fan of the great Sue Sylvester like me, you might wanna watch this video. Sue stages her version of Madonna's Vogue--- that's Sue minus the track suit plus the corset plus the famous cone bra plus lots of laces.

Watch next week's episode of Glee dedicated to the one and only Pop Queen, madonna, in the Glee: The Power of Madonna week. Loves!

And the words that I could never say are gonna come out anyway

I waited for years for someone in Idol to sing my favorite song.

This year, I am (pleasantly) surprised to see my man Andrew Garcia sing his version of James Morrison's You Give Me Something. This may not be the best performance of the night, but I have to say he gave a lot of justice to it, I mean the guy is just effortless.

Or am I simply biased?

Anyway, I have all my love towards Andrew Garcia, Lilly Scott, Crystal Bowersox and Paige Miles and Siobhan Magnus.

Never underestimate the "cuteboy" vote.

Never underestimate the "cuteboy" vote.

Allen wins Idol and I realized one thing: Flamboyance may put someone consistently on top, but the cute ones always have the last say.

Enough said. Lambert is still MY American Idol.

Idol: I've been saving it all up for the weekend, but really I don't care about the show that much anymore

I'm finally with my biggest (and most challenging) meeting for this quarter. I'm having a good start considering that I'm still new in the printers and hardware business.

I haven't posted up anything just yet coz I was busy since Monday. Reports are lined up all due on or before end of this week--- there's just no point to procrastinate, else I'm dead. I'm get myself some nice massage this weekend. And maybe a facial.

I haven't had time to watch Idol this week. I've been saving it all up for the weekend, but really I don't care about the show that much anymore. I was rooting for Allison and Danny Gokey, and now that both my favorites are out, then watching Idol is no longer a weekday priority. I'd rather get more sleep.

Giraud Out, Lambert Bottomed

Now on Idol---

I wasn't able to watch it coz I was sick. I was in bed the whole day with no TV, no food, no water, no boyfriend and no underwear.

Adam Lambert was "bottomed" for the first time (sorry, I do not have his picture). And to make the story short, Matt Giraud finally said goodbye. Oh well, it's just about time, he's had a million chances already and clearly, noone in his right mind would ever believe he could ever ever win the title, no offense to his fans.

And then there were 5...

Jamie Foxx mentored Brat Pack night and I just could not understand why.

Hell, why?

Anyways, the performances were awesome, Gokey, Iraheta and Lambert have again rendered the best performances. The best top 5 I've seen, needless to say. I am hoping Iraheta would make it to the Top 3, she deserves a slot there more than Kris Allen.

I however think Matt Giraud, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen are in danger tonight. Both Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta got bad reviews from Simon while Matt Giraud got praises from Count Cowell.

If I were to decide, I want Giraud out tomorrow.

Disco Night

I enjoyed Disco night too much I've been digging for live performances over the net for like half my shift albeit tons of deadlines and quota. This is by far the only episode in Idol that I have applauded each and every single contestant for an awesome performance--- even Lil Rounds and Anoop.

Tonight will be elimination night and I fear my girl Allison will be on the bottom three despite great reviews. She's been in the bottom 3 twice despite solid performances each week. If this happens, then Giraud's save last week was a total waste of great talent.

Giraud Saved from Idol Elimination *whew thank God...

Im so glad Matt Giraud got saved from idol. I think he deserves a couple of more weeks, Simon was right, he doesn’t have any chance of winning the title. Personally I think he deserves a spot in the top 5 alongside Allison Iraheta, Chis Allen, Daney Gokey and Adam Lambert.

If this would happen to be this year's top 5, then this is going to be the BEST top 5 ever.

I'm bored with Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai. I am positive Lil Rounds and Anoop will leave next week. I woudnt be shocked.

Megan, Out

I had by far the most memorable birthday celebration--- by a FAR mile.

Apart from claiming this as this year's biggest and grandest day of my life, March 28 is also when we celebrate Earth Hour (which means so much to me since I'm a big advocate on anything and everything that's to be done for the love of Mother Nature).

The past 3 weeks had been really tough for me. As you know, my Dad had been admitted to the ICU due to heart failure and I had been struggling financially since then. Other than that, I was nearing towards the end of my first sales quarter at work, which means that I'm always on the thickest of things and I barely had time to breathe in between tasks and to-do's. I barely have time to think on how to think things through some really complex tasks--- they just come and go and by God's grace I'm still sane at this point :)

The nicest thing about celebrating your birthday is you get to appreciate what you have. This year I realized that money never really was an issue-- you can have the time of your life even if you have practically nothing. I just had one :) The love I had around me was THE party in itself.

I shouldn’t let this post pass without getting to thank the people who have been with me through thick and thin. Thank you to my ever-supportive family, we are closer now more than ever and I thank God for that. To my Lexmark family, thank you for the cake and the food and the surprise celebration. To my friends at work~ especially my supplies family, Nina, Marla, Angel, Alphie and the rest, my NA Channel and warranties friends, thank you for the celebration. To my Microsoft family for the support that knows no bounderies and distance, thank you. To the Laagans (Atan, Tope, Deo and Vanz, Bao, Sanny and Mede, Arjay and Nicky, Jazzy and Chai), for always giving me a reason to smile on these tough times and for helping me out financially when my Dad got hospitalized. To my friends at the gym~ Cleff, Jude, Kristianne, Max, etc for always making me laugh. To Adong for the BBQ party he set-up (I know nakatapal ka cuz, hehehe), thank you so much! To my roommate Marcial for the dinner party, to my Doce friends for the hugs and "kisses" hahaha--- thank you, thank you, thank you.

I Never Thought I'd Live To See The Day...

And I thought she's just another talentless singer who gets too much hype from all her fancy antics. I got blown away when I saw her play the piano.

All hail Lady Gaga.

American Idol Season 8

New rules. New judge. New Season.

Last year I said in my old blog that American Idol is starting to bug me after 7 painstaking seasons of so-so contestants. But having watched today's pilot episode, I somehow had this little spark of hope that THIS season is going to be good. Today's episode by the way is really hilarious.

Since room-mate Marcial and I do not have cable at home, I pretty much contented myself watching it over QTV, it's just as good actually. I only had 6 hours of sleep just so I could watch the pilot run and I am about to snooze now. But if you'll ask me if I ever regret having less sleep today, the answer is no. ---The funny auditions were more than enough to keep me smirking the whole week.
