Happy Birthday Janeth!

I never really had the chance to tell you how much I appreciate our friendship…

For cooking my favorite carbonara, usually on days when I'm so fed up with having no carbs…
For the Marlboro sticks you give without conditions…
For the candies I steal from your drawer …
For your hair puller I borrow almost everyday…
For lending me your beanie bag when your done using it after your sleep break…
For making us all laugh with your cute tantrums…
For the motherly lessons you teach us…

Thank you…

Happy Birthday!

Crush (The Prelude)

Crushie is back in the gym. I found myself smiling and smirking at the thought that crushie's there and we're both in one roof. We're friends now. We used to be not friends and he used to not pay attention because, as per a VERY reliable source, he had a boyfriend that time. He didn’t want to pay attention to other men. Now I hear he's single, and I'm having multiple orgasms just by the thought of it. Hahha

Now Im plotting what to wear in the gym for the next 15 days. And Im getting a haircut. And a shave.

Oh god this is so highschool. :)

Im not done with this yet. I have a lot to say about crushes.

Don’t we all?

Ring

If I win the 55 million lotto prize pot this week, without a bat of an eyelash, Im gonna get me this---

It's the special edition Lakers 2008-2009 championship ring from David Stern and Lakers executive vice president Jeanie Buss.

Aaaaaaargh!

This Lakers new rock is 15-karats (the usual championship rings are just 14 karats), with 15 diamonds weighing 2.85, and the rest is gold. This is a commemoration of 15th NBA championship.

It sells at at least $10000, that’s almost half a million in my currency.

Call me shallow now but who says money cant buy happiness?

Who Is Your Crush????

I tried signing in at an online work-from-home website today coz a lot of people in our office are taking in some part time work for extra cash. I recall signing up for it 3 months ago when I was researching on an article that I wrote for a local website about working and how it changed the face of earning good money without leaving the comforts of your own home.

I got what I wanted from the website and I came up with a good article that got published after a month.

But today I was on to something. I was looking for part-time online work just like my friends hence I needed to log in again to that account.

I forgot my username and password. As usual.

So I clicked on the forgot password button and it led me to this page that asked me…

"Who is your crush"?

I typed in 3 names and I got rejected. It prompted "Your answer to the security question was incorrect"

What the hell was I thinking then? Why would I make "Who is your crush" a security question when I know for a fact that I change crushes as often as I change my underwear?

Now who was that again? Help. :)

Mimi Is Love

My adoration For Mimi went up a thousand folds when I saw this news about Mimi proposing a toast to a gay couple who got engaged in Las Vegas.

And she drank her champagne bottoms up. She looks really awesome when she's happy.

Loves. :)

And this takes me to a very touching line of the prayer that our Pastor said during last Sunday's worship:

"Lord, we are in a way thankful for these trials that we have in our nation. We are thankful because this taught us to become a country that is responsible of our own. And more importantly, this showed us that we are, despite our differences, is after all a nation that is unceasingly compassionate of our own people."

Let's never cease from helping until we see that everything is okay, okay?

Pink

I have spent the last 2 weeks decorating my place and I'm at a point where I'm still unhappy with the results. I've switched from pink curtains to blue, but something still feels off. I have changed floor mats from white to purple and I'm not happy yet. I however found the perfect carpet the other day. Looked like pink fur but I coudnt afford it. That wouldve been the one thing that could connect what's off between my curtains and flooring.

I'm so gonna get it come payday. Move over Elle Woods.

Owner Of A Lonely Heart

I lost my favorite pair of rubber shoes last week. Someone stole them in the gym--- Yeah in the freakin' gym. Just when you think the upper mid class don’t steal used stuff, some of them actually do. This is not the first time I lost something in the locker room. Three months ago I lost my vanity pouch with EVERYTHING in it, including some cash.

Im stuck with my old pairs this week and I don’t even like them that much. I have a couple of pairs that I hardly ever wear, Im talking about a yellow Nike waffle and a black and yellow Nike runners. The former makes me look like Ronald McDonald and the latter feels like hell in my feet. And then there's the orange Puma and the blue Chucks and the white loafers that Im not comfortable wearing.

It sucks to be me this week.

I'm missing my favorite pair so much I don’t even want to the gym anymore. It didn’t cost that much but it had a lot of sentimental value. That pair just felt really awesome while doing the 3k, or while dancing-- they just stick to the vinyl floor so nicely it feels like Im not wearing any footwear at all.

Someone please return my shoes. :(

Something to Start My Weekend Right

Have a great "payday" weekend babies! :)

SakSak Festival

Last week I was given the privilege to record the official festival song of the Sak-sak Festival of Samboan. The song was written and composed by Mr. Sam Costannila and was given life by the musical genius of Mr. Gani Villaroho, and of course interpreted by yours truly :)

It was truly an honor to have worked with such talents, I had about a week to study the demo, I dreaded for the day I'm finally putting my own touch to the music but these guys have been truly friendly and accommodating.

I would like to congratulate the officials of Samboan, spearheaded by Mayor Raymund Calderon for this wonderful festival song. It was formally launched last Sept 30 with Gov. Gwen Garcia as guest of Honor and speaker.

There are 10 Contingents of different local tribes who will be competing the Street Dancing and Grand showdown with the Festival song in place. Each tribe will show their best of dances and how Sak-Sak is popular in Samboan through dance steps and movements.

My apologies for being unable to come to your mardi gras, my work schedule's just been uber-crazy. :)
